Sudarshan, Dheer: India

Upon establishing his own design company, Graphic Communication Concepts, he studied fine art and communication art in Mumbai. His design company specializes in corporate-identity programs, corporate literature and packaging, and signage systems. The picture I included is a corporate identity logo for an animal-welfare organization, I love the way he used negative space.
He has won many local and international design awards, and is included among the Hall of Fame of the Communication Arts Guild (CAG).According to Dheer, advertising agencies dominate the visual- communication scene in India. Visit his site, it takes an clever and simplistic spin on appealing to the client. His favorite international designers are: Paul Rand, and Louis Dorfsman from the U.S. , F.H.K. Henrion, Alan Fletcher and Bob Gill from Britain, Ikko Tanaka, Takenobu Igarashi, and Shigeo Fukuda from Japan

Haiti Poster Project

As I was searching through the web I came across this amazing project graphic designers are doing to help raise money for Haiti after the earthquakes. Knowing how much I desire to make my career into a life changing opportunity for others, I thought this was an amazing example of how a job as a graphic designer can positively help others. Check out the site.

Onish Aminelahi, Iranian Designer and Photographer

Here's a talented man who works as a freelancer for many companies. He accomplishes a wide range of projects from insurance to food photography (which he makes look rather appealing). Of course Iranian script is used in most of his designs, which adds a unique embellishment. Check him out at his website.

This work was created by Ohio native Bobby Rosenstock. Considering that I'm from Ohio I decided to list this graphic designer even though he's not internationally located. Him and his wife own a letterpress and create anything from identity, poster and package design. Their style is vintage and they are affordable. One thing I love most about them is their ability to design and come up with usable projects that are direct but make sense for the common person.

Pete Harrison aka Aeiko , UK

Aeiko, is a free-lance graphic designer who lives in the UK. He works with major clients such as, BMW, MTV, Dolce & Gabbana, Samsung, Microsoft and more. His work is unique and one thing I particulary like about him is that he uses people in almost every piece of his work, yet when he alters them they become more of an embellished picture bursting with colorful flashes of light. check him out at http://www.peteharrison.com/

My Life is an Adventure

“A man practices the art of adventure when he breaks the chain of routine and renews his life through reading new books, traveling to new places, making new friends, taking up new hobbies and adopting new viewpoints”
